KnobKnobs User Guide
Learn how to properly replace your knobs without damaging your gear ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა

~~Please keep in mind the space you have on your gear for the knob you want to purchase. There's different knob sizes and, if you buy one bigger than you should, it can take too much space and disturb the usage of the surrounding knobs~~
How to remove a knob
To remove a knob from your hardware, usually you simply have to pull and it will come out. Please check if the knob has a tiny screw on the side. If so, remove it first and then try to pull it. If the knob is stuck, try pulling it using a towel in order to create more friction, or use a small screwdriver that you can place between the knob and the potentiometer and apply pressure so that the knob is lifted (it is recommended to put some type of towel beneath the screwdriver so it doesn’t scratch your gear).
How to insert a KnobKnob
Since our designs include an adapter already inside the knob, it's very simple to insert KnobKnobs in all your gear! There are a few specifications based on the type of potentiometer shaft you have. Some knobs require a screw to tighten them due to the nature of the materials, and in those cases a screw is included in your package for each knob you buy.

For 6.35mm Round Metal and 6mm Round Metal
-Spin the potentiometer all the way to one side, so it aligns with the indicator on the knob.
-Insert the knob on top of the potentiometer; ensure that the indicator is turned to the same side as the shaft :)
-Tighten the small screw on the side of the knob. Don’t use excessive force to ensure it's completely tightened, as that may damage your gear. Simply tighten it until it’s no longer easy to turn.
For T18, D-Shaft and 6mm Round Black Plastic
-Spin the potentiometer all the way to one side, so it aligns with the indicator on the knob.
-Insert the knob on top of the potentiometer; ensure that the indicator is turned to the same side as the shaft :)
